RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA- San Bernardino Sheriff John McMahon has endorsed Supervisor Janice Rutherford for reelection.
“Janice Rutherford is a respected partner with law enforcement,” McMahon said. “She is helping keep neighborhoods safe from criminals.”
Rutherford’s work to facilitate the Volunteer Forces Unit in the County has helped add a needed resource to local law enforcement by keeping their communities safe. She has also supported the Sheriff’s Citizens on Patrol program which allows citizens to aid the county and keep more deputies patrolling on the streets.
As a rural county, Rutherford knows the importance and need for a strong search and rescue program in San Bernardino County. Which is why she makes sure the volunteers have the tools and training they need to conduct these operations. She has a proven record as an advocate for public safety and ensuring law enforcement and first responders have the resources they need to make a difference.
Rutherford represents the Second District of San Bernardino County, which includes Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Upland, and the Rim of the World communities. She lives in Rancho Cucamonga with her husband Steve Lim and their two sons, Ethan and Noah.
