Rutherford deserves another term as San Bernardino County supervisor
The statewide primary election will be held on Tuesday, June 5, and the Herald News is urging all voters to participate in our democracy and cast their ballots for the candidates of their choice.
Rutherford has been an effective supervisor during her two terms, after previously being a member of the Fontana City Council. With her help, the county has made many positive strides, including enacting jobs-friendly policies and enacting ethics reforms. She said her goals are to continue to improve county government and to “make sure that we deliver core government services the best that we possibly can,” and she deserves another four years to fulfill those goals.
Steinorth has served ably in the Assembly, but there is no reason why Rutherford should be replaced as supervisor. The Herald News endorses Rutherford and encourages voters in the 2nd District to vote for her on Election Day.
