Rancho Cucamonga City Council Member Sam Spagnolo Endorses Janice Rutherford

RANCHO CUCAMONGA – Sam Spagnolo, City Council Member from Rancho Cucamonga, announced today his support for Janice Rutherford in her bid for re-election to the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors.
When asked about his endorsement, Mr. Spagnolo said, “Janice always fights for what is right. She pushes the bureaucracy to be more efficient with our tax dollars and brings out the best in policy debates.”
Janice Rutherford has been serving on the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors since 2010, and previously served as Chairperson of the Board. Rutherford serves on several County committees, including South Coast Air Quality Management District, San Bernardino County Transportation Authority, Inland Empire Economic Partnership, and the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center Joint Conference Committee and Omnitrans.
Prior to her election to the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors, Rutherford sat on the Fontana City Council for a decade. During her tenure with the City of Fontana, Rutherford also served as Mayor Pro Tem and President of the Fontana Fire District. Among her achievements on the City Council is her creation of the Fontana Community Assistance Program, which helped charity organizations connect with people in need.
Rutherford represents the Second District of San Bernardino County, which includes Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Upland, and the Rim of the World communities. She lives in Rancho Cucamonga with her husband Steve Lim and their two sons, Ethan and Noah.
